Creeping willow is a prostrate, decumbent, ascending or erect shrub up to only 1.5m tall. A species of open heathland, common in the New Forest, Dorset, Devon & Cornwall, but quite scarce elsewhere in the south-west.

At Trebrown Nurseries we maintain our own registered seed stands on Trebrown Farm, which remain the only seed stand registered in Cornwall. Salix repens is not a FRM controlled species, but is certified under the voluntary FRM scheme.
