Trebrown Nurseries grows one of Britain's largest selections of forestry trees and saplings, including both officially recognised Forest Reproductive Material (FRM) and a growing range of additional timber species suitable for commercial forestry, research and trial planting.

Official British Forest Reproductive Material (FRM)

These species are recognised under the Great Britain Forest Reproductive Material (FRM) Regulations for forestry planting. Our FRM trees are produced from registered sources of Basic Material, providing full traceability of origin and provenance. They are suitable for woodland creation, replanting schemes and other forestry projects where FRM planting stock is required.

Commercial Forestry Species and Trees with UK Forestry Potential (not currently UK FRM)

The trees below are grown for their timber value and their current or potential use in commercial forestry. Some are established forestry species elsewhere in the world, while others are being evaluated for wider use in Britain in response to changing climates, new silvicultural research and the need for resilient forests. Although these species are not currently listed as British Forest Reproductive Material, they may still be planted in the UK where appropriate.
